The challenge
Brokers, liquidity providers, and fintech platforms grow through introducing brokers (IBs), affiliates, and referral networks — but running those programs on spreadsheets, manual bank transfers, and ad-hoc tracking links does not scale.
Operators need to:
- Attribute sign-ups reliably across campaigns and channels
- Pay partners on activity they actually generated — spreads, commissions, financing, fees, or milestone-based CPA
- Support multi-level trees without losing control of economics
- Give partners a branded workspace while compliance and finance retain full oversight
Building this as a bolt-on usually means fragile integrations, opaque reconciliation, and partner churn when payouts are late or unclear.
What we shipped
Partner Manager is a first-class module in Obermind Platform 4.8.3, releasing 25 May 2026. It gives firms a complete Partners program — customer-facing portals for master partners and affiliates, plus admin tooling for configuration, approval workflows, and payout reconciliation.
The module is designed for regulated businesses that need auditability without sacrificing the flexibility IB networks expect.
Two ways to reward partners
Partner Manager supports two complementary payment models. Firms can enable either or both.
Rebate — share in client activity
Rebate payouts are calculated from introduced clients' trading and account activity:
- Spread — a share of mark-up cost on executed trades
- Commissions — a percentage of commission charged on fills
- Financing — a share of net financing paid (refunds netted)
- Fees — a share of net fees paid (refunds netted)
Each source transaction can flow up the partner tree according to configurable split percentages per level — so masters, sub-partners, and deeper tiers all receive a transparent, rules-based share.
CPA — milestone rewards per introduced client
CPA (cost-per-acquisition) pays tiered fixed amounts when an introduced client meets milestones you define — for example minimum deposit, number of closed trades, traded quantity, or lifetime on platform. Tiers can combine criteria, with optional caps on how long a client has to qualify.
This model suits acquisition campaigns where you want predictable bounties rather than ongoing revenue share.
Multi-level partner trees
Real IB networks are rarely flat. Partner Manager models trees up to ten levels deep:
- New sign-ups attach under their inviter
- Master partners configure how rebate and CPA splits are shared across levels
- Splits always total 100% — the platform renormalises when a configured depth exceeds the actual tree, so gross partner economics stay intact
Partners see their downline, invite performance, and earned amounts in a dedicated Partners area of the client application — without exposing sensitive identity details beyond what your policy allows.
Branded growth, measured attribution
Growth teams get custom invite links with campaign labels, click tracking, and first-touch attribution windows — so a prospect who returns days later still credits the right partner.
Overview analytics surface link performance and conversion trends, helping masters and operators understand which campaigns actually produce funded, active clients — not just clicks.
Versatile configuration for complex firms
No two brokerages configure mark-ups, groups, and account types the same way. Partner Manager reflects that:
- Firm-wide defaults with per-master overrides — set baseline rebate and CPA rules once, then let large IBs negotiate their own economics where needed
- Group-aware rules — different rebate or CPA configs for different client account groups, with clear inheritance when masters only override part of a programme
- Default account groups for introduced clients — route new sign-ups to the right trading profile automatically based on currency, account type, and partner tree position
- Per-partner cloned user groups — masters can offer differentiated pricing packages to their downline while staying inside firm guardrails
Operators can also toggle rebate and CPA programmes independently — useful when rolling out geographically or piloting CPA in one region first.
Operations your finance team will trust
Partner payouts post through the same payment pipeline as standard client deposits — they appear in admin payment screens, statements, and audit trails your compliance team already uses.
Every rebate payout can be tied back to the source activity that generated it, with descriptions that make partner statements self-explanatory. CPA progress is tracked per introduced client and tier so support can answer “why was this paid?” without engineering tickets.
Admin users get partner directories, tree views, turnover reporting, lifetime summaries, schedule controls, and task-based approvals for sensitive changes — so marketing can move fast while risk and operations stay in the loop.
Built for scale
Partner Manager runs as a background processing pipeline on the platform — rebate calculation, CPA milestone checks, and attribution cleanup on schedules you control. That keeps the customer UI responsive even when programmes span thousands of accounts and deep partner trees.
PAMM and similar account types can be excluded from partner calculations where they would distort economics. Multi-currency firms convert payout amounts to each partner's chosen settlement account currency using the platform's standard FX tooling.

Who this is for
Partner Manager is aimed at:
- Brokers and dealers scaling IB and affiliate channels
- Prop and liquidity businesses sharing economics across introducer networks
- White-label platforms giving their B2B partners a turnkey referral stack
- Fintech programmes that need CPA-style acquisition alongside trading revenue share
If you already run Obermind, Partner Manager is the missing layer between client acquisition and operational payout — native to the stack, not stitched on.
What's next
Partner Manager ships in Obermind Platform 4.8.3 on 25 May 2026. Existing customers can enable the programme firm-wide or gate access by partner role, configure firm defaults in admin, and invite master partners to enrol through the client Partners area.
We will continue expanding reporting, localisation, and partner-facing analytics — but the foundation — attribution, configurable economics, auditable payouts, and multi-level trees — is ready for production programmes on day one.
